I can't wait to see this movie on how truthful it will be. This movie will be an eye opener as well as a spiritual uplifting. It is not the violence that concerns me, it is the fact that this Son of Man (God's son) had the love, courage and kindness to give, forgive and die for our sins in such a way which is his destiny. I hope this movie will open the eyes and heart of non-believers and those who believe but not ready to seek and receive his gift of life. I will cry during this movie, only because of his loving passion he has given to us. I say to Jesus, forgive those who are in controversy with this movie for they do not know what they are doing and that the heart of this movie is to bring those into the life of Jesus himself. The Jews where forgiven by Jesus and his father 2000 yrs ago upon the cross. It is the reason why he died for us, to forgive our sins and to give us salvation. Amen.

I saw the Passion at a prescreening for religious leaders in Houston, TX at the end of 03 that was hosted by Mr. Gibson, and would have to say it is incredible. Gibson will be blessed tenfold. I was invited because I am a prominent Jew in the Houston area by ethnicity that has recently converted to the Christian faith. The movie excited me so much that I have sought out other depictions of Christ's life through film. I also recommend "Jesus of Nazareth" an incredibly well made movie that I just saw for the first time. <br>Briefly I will tell you that I have spent my life surrounded by Judaism. In the 90's I sought to disprove this Christ that I had been told was the real messiah by Christians. I spent years and years studying here in the US and also in Europe to prove my beliefs. I made numbers of connections between the Torah and the New Testament concluding that there are over 300 prophecies in the Torah (old testament) that are fulfilled by the life of Christ. Let me remind you that the Torah or Old Testament was finished 250-500 years before the birthe of Christ. Being the type of person that I am, I double checked over and over in question of my findings only to once again prove that Christ must be the messiah. <br>I then studied the other belief systems (Muslim, Hindu etc.) to counter my Christian findings and to disprove Christ.<br>Christianity is not just a religion(man made), it is the truth. If you would take the time to research and explore the various belief systems you will see what I see. Please do not take my accounts as completely valid information but as a testimony. Dig around and find the answers for yourself.<br>Please open your mind and your heart when you watch this film. I found myself weeping at the fact that I too was just like the disbelievers of Christ in the movie and that I have and would have cast the first stone. <br>I understand the position of my Jewish brethren, and pray that you will not fight this movie. If you deny its validity you also deny your own faith.<br>Also remember that by saying Mr. Gibson has created a movie that will create hate for our Jewish people is about equivalent to saying that Mr. Spielberg created a movie that only created hate for the German people. <br>Finally, I would like to remind my fellow Christians that we need to respond to adversity as Christ would and not be quick to anger by the comments of those who seek him.
